HISTORY

Newland and Company was founded by John N. Newland in 1940. In 1974, the firm became a professional corporation, and currently both its Butte and Deer Lodge offices are owned by eight shareholders.

Newland and Company has grown into one of the largest accounting firms in Southwestern Montana and is the largest firm in Butte.

Newland and Company and its Certified Public Accountants belong to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Montana Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Butte Chapter of Certified Public Accountants.

We are strong supporters of the Butte community and are members of many civic organizations within Butte-Silver Bow and Deer Lodge.
